Pink’s Epoxy Coating Products
For best results when applying an epoxy coating to concrete there are 4 steps.
- Surface Preparation – Acid etching, Shotblasting, grinding, crack repair and fixing damaged areas. Visit our surface preparation page.
- Primer – Water based 45% solids or our 93% solids
- Build Coat – This can be a 45% Solids, 93% Solids or 100% solids epoxy coating.
- Protective Finish – Wax, Urethane, Polyaspartic, Epoxy
Choosing the Right Products
Decorative Chips – Most residential applications include a light (sprinkled) chip application or full broadcast. Chips come in multi colors, look great and are effective for hiding blemishes. Full broadcast chip systems are applied at rate of 10-11 lbs per 100 square feet costing $7.99 per lb. They add additional build and strength to floor.
Colors – Most popular are medium gray and beige. Most popular decorative chip combination is white, charcoal and black with gray epoxy.
Primers
- Water Based – P015 45% Solids. Interior concrete floor sealer or use as primer for our floor systems. Clear, light gray, medium gray, beige, tile red and white. 5-7 mils. 270 SF Per Gallon $135.00 per 2 Gallon.
- High Solids – 93% Solids P707LVP, two component. Two coats can be applied before finish coat or use as primer for 100% solids system. 6-12 Mils, 200 SF per gallon. 3 Gallons $229.00
Finish Coats
- Hot Tire Urethane – P356 for garage Floors, Solvent Smell, use in ventilated areas. $109.95 per Gallon. 400-600 SF per gallon. 2-5 mils
- Polyurethane Flat Finish – 38% solids P520, 350 – 500 SF Per Gallon, Low Odor interior application finish coat with chemical resistance. Hot Tire Tested. 5 gallons $239.95
- Polyurethane Gloss Finish – 38% Solids P521, Hot Tire Tested, Chemical Resistant $239.00 per gallon
- Polyaspartic – 85% and 100% solids with exceptional cure time of 1-2 hours. Call for details.
Oil Stop Epoxy
- Epoxy Oil Stop Coating – P820, 63% solids epoxy coating for resurfacing petroleum oil contaminated concrete floors. 3-5 Mils $52.80 for 2 gallon with 200-300 SF Coverage.
Crack Fillers and Caulking
- P818 – 100% solids epoxy crack filler. Use for shallow concrete repair. ½ gallon $59.95
